Frances is an improvisational musician, singer-songwriter, facilitator and composer who enjoys working across artistic discipline; inter-weaving story, words and intention with sound. Frances studied arts-based peacebuilding at the Center for Justice and Peace Graduate Program and community music facilitation through Music for People. She has released a number of CD's and one movie soundtrack. She recorded and performed with Grammy-Award winning cellist David Darling and studied a variety of violin/fiddle traditions including Cajun/Creole music and North Indian classical music with Humayun Khan. Frances performs with various groups, teaches lessons through Music For Everyone and facilitates community based improvisational music events. She believes in the power of music to restore balance in both individuals and community, as well as to connect us with the earth, each other and the core of our lives. She lives in Lancaster County at Fiddle Creek Farm where she is developing a vision to create a nature-based creative arts hub.
