Michael London - guitar and vocals Rich Rudin - piano
Pianist Rich Rudin has performed regularly throughout the Delaware Valley since 1970, playing in a wide variety of styles. He has also composed hundreds jazz & pop songs. His CD, “Compositions”features 13 original jazz tunes. Karl Stark of the Philadelphia Inquirer, in his 3 and a half star review, calls “Compositions” a “luminous recording”, “full of bravura moments”, showing “a masterly use of color”. Rudin is joined on the CD by Ken Ulansey, Bruce Kaminsky and Lou Abbott on sax, bass and drums. Rudin received his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Temple University. He teaches piano, music theory & composition privately and, in 1980, founded the Maplewood Music Studio, a music school in Germantown & Chestnut Hill, which offers lessons for all ages on virtually all instruments and in all styles of music.
